West Ham boss David Moyes is facing fresh concerns over the fitness of two of his defenders ahead of the Premier League fixture with Southampton on Sunday.
The Hammers travel to face Saints at St Mary's in the Premier League this weekend, with the two sides separated by three points and four places in the table after nine games.
But West Ham have a number of injury and fitness concerns ahead of the game, with former Burnley winger Maxwel Cornet expected to miss out with a calf strain, while summer signing Nayef Aguerd is not likely to be ready to return this weekend as he builds up his fitness following an ankle injury.

Former Southampton loanee Michail Antonio is also a doubt for the game having not trained this week due to illness, with the forward not involved as West Ham beat Anderlecht 2-1 in the UEFA Europa Conference League last night.
And Moyes was given two more injury concerns in that game, with centre-backs Angelo Ogbonna and Craig Dawson both going off during the course of the game. Following the win, Moyes gave updates on both players as he assessed their injuries.
"[Angelo] Ogbonna I think has got a tight hamstring, Craig Dawson had a dead leg which he actually got on [Sunday], that’s why he didn’t start tonight," he said, as reported by football.london. "He came on and got it in the same part again so we just didn’t take any risk with it."
Moyes is set to speak to the media again this morning ahead of the trip to the south coast on Sunday, with the West Ham boss likely to provide further updates on the injury situation then.
