TUPPER LAKE — Village police are searching for a Tupper Lake man who has been missing for over 20 days and are requesting information from the public to help locate him.
Jordan Beaulieu, 32, was last seen on Oct. 1 and last heard from on Oct. 3, according to a press release from the police department.
Beaulieu is a white man, approximately 5 feet, 11 inches tall, and around 165 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. He may drive a red 2015 Ford Escape with the New York license plate DYW3125.
Anyone with information about Beaulieu’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Tupper Lake Police Department at 518-359-3776.
TLPD Chief Eric Proulx said Beaulieu was reported missing to police on Oct. 14 and that police officers have been gathering subpoenas and search warrants for bank accounts and personal information on Beaulieu to locate him.
Proulx said TLPD did not request public input on the search earlier because they were waiting for the identity of a man killed in a truck fire off Washington Street in the village on Sunday. State Police reported on Tuesday that the man in this fatal fire was Ross Goodenough, of Dexter.
Proulx said a family member told police he may have traveled to Connecticut, but he added that that is not a strong lead the police are following. It is just one of many possibilities.
“Other than Tupper Lake, that was the only place anybody could think he could have gone to,” Proulx said.
Police have said they do not currently know a reason for Beaulieu going missing.
“At this point we don’t really know,” TLPD Sergeant Jordan Nason said.
Beaulieu was not located by publication of this article on Friday, according to the TLPD. The Enterprise will continue to provide updates on this search as it develops.
