Chelsea have internally discussed a move for Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha but the Blues are concentrated on signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Blues boss Thomas Tuchel is keen to be reunited with the Gabon striker who he previously coached at Borussia Dortmund.
The Guardian have reported that the Londoners have discussed the possibility of signing Palace icon Zaha in case they can’t close a deal for Aubameyang.
Aubameyang remains Boehly’s first priority but the Ivorian could become an alternative option should Chelsea deem Barca’s asking price to be too high.
Antony to Manchester United has got the ‘here we go’ treatment with an official announcement now imminent.
The Brazilian will put pen-to-paper on a contract tomorrow and will sign a deal until 2027.

Newcastle are dealing with a number of injury problems ahead of Wednesday’s trip to Liverpool and Eddie Howe has admitted more new signings may come.
Just days ago, the Magpies broke their transfer record to sign £60million striker Alexander Isak from Real Sociedad.
Howe said after a 1-1 draw at Wolves today: “We’re counting the cost of a spell where we’re getting some rough luck with injuries. The lads are exerting so much within the games that we’re feeling the effects of that.
“The lads emptied their tank. We’ve picked up a couple of injuries. I don’t know how bad they are.
“Yeah, maybe [we’ll make more signings]. We’ll have a look, count the bodies, see who we have fit and then make a decision on whether we go into the market.”
Frenkie de Jong is poised to stay at Barcelona rather than head to Premier League despite interest from Manchester United and Chelsea and links to Liverpool.
The Dutchman did not want to leave the Nou Camp and has held firm despite United agreeing a fee of around £72million with Barca for the player.
Now, CBS Sports say De Jong is set to get his wish with United having given up on a deal. Chelsea have also failed to make progress in their pursuit of the midfielder.
Frenkie de Jong is expected to get his wish and stay at Barcelona. As previously reported, Manchester United have all but given up. No significant new offensive to sign him has taken place. Chelsea haven’t made any further progress either. Liverpool looking elsewhere.
Wolves boss Bruno Lage has ruled out Ruben Neves joining Liverpool to be Jurgen Klopp’s midfield fix.

But Lage said today after his side’s draw with Newcastle: “I can confirm I’m 99 per cent sure Ruben Neves will stay at Wolverhampton this summer.”
Wolves had had a bid for Stuttgart’s Austrian striker Sasa Kalajdzic rejected, according to reports from Germany.

Chelsea have identified Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha as an alternative to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Anthony Gordon.
According to Simon Phillips, Chelsea have been in talks with Zaha’s representatives since last week.
The Ivorian is said to have welcomed a potential move to Stamford Bridge in the final four days of the transfer window.
Nottingham Forest fans at the City Ground this afternoon are already in for a treat with Tottenham Hotspur visiting.
But they’re set for a bonus treat prior to kick-off, with Forest planning to unveil new star signing Renan Lodi on the pitch.
Fabrizio Romano reports Forest have completed the signing of Lodi on loan from Atletico Madrid with the option to buy.
The left-back is Steve Cooper’s 18th summer signing and brings Champions League experience to the newly-promoted club.
Ajax head coach Alfred Shreuder has slammed Antony’s impending transfer to Manchester United as ‘very sad’ and ‘about money’ in an incredible shot at a player who is still owned by the Eredivsie club.
United are closing in on a £90m move for the Brazil international winger, who has been a key target for Erik ten Hag this summer.
But Shreuder has slammed the 22-year-old for leaving the Champions League-participating side for one who just about qualified for the Europa League.
The 49-year-old told ESPN: “Everything is about money… I think this is sad. But this is our world, it’s very sad and I don’t approve [of] these things at all”.
Antony has refused to play in Ajax’s last two Eredivisie matches. The Amsterdam club have hardly missed the former Sao Paulo starlet and beat Utrecht 2-0 on Sunday.
There are no discussions taking place over a possible switch that would see Frenkie de Jong join Liverpool from Barcelona, according to reports.

Liverpool want to sign a new midfielder to help cope with the Reds’ gruelling European and domestic schedule.
However, Fabrizio Romano claims that no talks are ongoing between Liverpool and Barca for De Jong.
It comes following reports that the Anfield hierarchy had internally discussed the former Manchester United target as a possible signing. Frenkie de JongRuben Neves has revealed that he expected to leave Wolves at the end of last season.
The Portugal international has been linked with Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United but has remained a Wolves player this summer.
With just five days to go until the transfer deadline, it seems likely that the midfielder will stay at the club.
“Well, let’s see what happens,” Neves told The Times. “I try to focus 100 per-cent on my football and I had a good start to the season but we need results now.
“If you ask me at the end of last season I would have said to you, ‘I will leave’ but I’m still here, so we never know what’s going to happen.”

But The Athletic claims that Jurgen Klopp will still try to sign a midfielder before the end of the transfer window.
A busy schedule has not convinced Klopp, nor the Anfield hierarchy, that the current squad can cope with the gruelling demands.
Wilfried Zaha’s agent is ‘exploring’ the forward’s options amid reports that Arsenal could be interested in a transfer, according to reports.
The Crystal Palace icon has a contract that expires next summer. He is yet to sign an extension.
Fabrizio Romano claims that Zaha’s agent is ‘exploring’ the 29-year-old’s options. Roma were interested in Zaha before signing Paulo Dybala earlier this summer.
Express Sport understands that Palace have little interest in selling Zaha and would not do so late in the transfer window. Zaha remains happy at Selhurst Park and, unlike previous summers, has not pushed for a departure.
Napoli have been told by Jorge Mendes that Manchester United are set to make a bid for Victor Osimhen, according to reports.
The Serie A outfit have also been assued by the Portuguese that Cristiano Ronaldo would be available at a cut-price figure.
That is because the Glazers are apparently prepared to pay a chunck of the forward’s wages if he departs the Red Devils, Italian publication Il Mattino claim.
The report also suggests that Napoli have been told to expect a bid from United for striker Osimhen.
It shows that Erik ten Hag’s forward line is set to be replenished. Ronaldo and MendesManchester United have agreed personal terms with Martin Dubravka over becoming their fifth summer signing, according to reports.
Dubravka would leave Newcastle to become the second-choice goalkeeper at Old Trafford, behind David de Gea.
However, Fabrizio Romano reports that there remains difference over the type of deal. United want an initial loan with an option to buy for £5m. Newcastle want a straight permanent move.
Wesley Fofana will undergo a medical with Chelsea on Sunday before his transfer is announced on Monday, according to reports.

Tottenham can help Nottingham Forest sign Renan Lodi by loaning Sergio Reguilon to Atletico Madrid.
According to reports, both deals are close to being concluded.
Lodi would become Forest’s 18th summer signing, while Spurs outcast Reguilon would be the Brazilian’s replacement at Atletico.
Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano claims that the paperwork for both deals is being sorted.
Tottenham want to sign defender Trevoh Chalobah from Chelsea, according to reports.
Chalobah is likely to see his game time limited at Stamford Bridge when the Blues confirm the arrival of Wesley Fofana from Leicester next week.
