League races got a lot more interesting after Week 7 of the high school football season Friday night. McKinley’s win at Lake had big Federal League implications. Jackson’s rout of GlenOak kept the Polar Bears within striking distance of the Federal lead. In the PAC-7, a pair of thrillers reshaped that league race — Poochie Snyder’s late heroics lifted Canton South to a win at Fairless, and Northwest won in overtime over CVCA, which entered the week alone in first. Among independents, Massillon beat Middletown, Delaware to extend its win streak and Louisville snapped its losing streak vs. Federal League teams. For all the night’s scores, keep on scrolling down, including a statewide list following the area standings.
Miss any of our coverage throughout Week 7 here’s some of it: a breakdown of this week’s games, the area stat leaders through six weeks, who we picked to win this week, the FridayNightOhio power poll, the latest Associated Press state poll and the OHSAA computer ratings heading into Week 7. Plus here’s a look back at our first half of the season award winners.

Big run of the night by mini beast mode! Willtrell Hartson (@x_trell4 ) goes 53 yards for his 3rd rushing touchdown tonight. He could be at 200 yards by now. If not, he’s not far off. College coaches, pay a attention! 👀
