Paul Robinson has claimed Naby Keita has been “a big miss” for Liverpool this season.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Spurs and England number one said the 27-year-old “cannot come back soon enough” for Reds manager Jurgen Klopp.
Keita is yet to appear in the Premier League for Liverpool this season because of hamstring injury suffered on the eve of the defeat to Man United in August.
His only appearance came in the Community Shield victory over Manchester City.
According to Goal‘s Neil Jones (25 October), Keita will not be available for Jurgen Klopp’s side until November.
The centre-midfielder returned to training last week and will build up his fitness over the next month.

When asked by Football Insider for his thoughts on the latest Keita injury update, Robinson said: “I think he has been a big miss in all honesty.
“He is a seven out of 10 most weeks. He brings something different to that midfield. I really think they have missed him.
“I’m pretty sure he would have started most games if he had been fit. He will come straight back into the side when he gets back to full fitness. That cannot come soon enough for Jurgen Klopp.”
Keita has contributed 11 goals and seven assists in 117 appearances across all competitions for the Reds.
His contract at Anfield expires at the end of next June.
In other news, the FA have been told to think twice about Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp as meeting scheduled.
