We can confirm that Rafaelle Souza has sustained a fracture to a metatarsal bone in her foot.
Rafaelle will not travel to join up with the Brazilian national team as she begins the rehabilitation process here at Arsenal.
We expect Rafaelle to be on the sidelines for several weeks while she recovers.

It was a night to remember in Amsterdam last night as we booked our place in the UEFA Women’s Champions League group stages by beating Ajax Vrouwen 1-0, and all the highlights are now available to watch.
Vivianne Miedema’s superb goal six minutes after the break sealed a 3-2 aggregate victory for us, as we battled the wet conditions to advance into the next phase of the competition.
The striker’s magic moment, as well the best of the rest of the action, is now available to view by pressing play on the video above.
