Manchester City team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Sevilla – Sports Mole

  • October 31, 2022

Manchester City will be seeking to return to winning ways in the Champions League and complete an unbeaten group-stage campaign when they welcome Sevilla to the Etihad on Wednesday.
City continue to mount pressure on Arsenal at the top of the Premier League standings as they claimed a slender 1-0 victory over Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on Saturday courtesy of a second-half effort from Kevin de Bruyne.
Pep Guardiola‘s side now turn their attention to the Champions League, where they are one of just four sides yet to suffer defeat this season and have secured their place in the knockout stages thanks to their three-point lead at the top of Group G.
Here, Sports Mole rounds up Manchester City’s latest injury and suspension news ahead of their clash with Sevilla, against whom they are currently on an impressive run of three consecutive Champions League victories since October 2015.

Manchester City have no active players suspended for this Tuesday’s game, with Sergio Gomez available for selection after sitting out last week’s game versus Dortmund for picking up a red card in the 1-1 draw with Copenhagen on October 11.
