Liverpool news: Pundit issues ‘big’ Mohamed Salah verdict after injury update – Football Insider

Kevin Campbell has claimed there is “a big reliance” on Mohamed Salah at Liverpool this season.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Arsenal and Everton striker suggested Jurgen Klopp’s side must keep the 30-year-old fit given their current injury absentees.
Salah produced an uncharacteristic display for the Reds at Nottingham Forest on Saturday (22 October).
The forward has started all but one of Liverpool’s fixtures across all competitions in the 2022-23 campaign.
Darwin Nunez, Diogo Jota, Luis Diaz, Thiago Alcantara, Naby Keita, Ibrahima Konate and Joel Matip all missed the visit to the City Ground.
Speaking to club media (25 October), Klopp revealed Nunez and Konate would return for the trip to Ajax on Wednesday but the others remain sidelined.

When asked by Football Insider if Salah’s workload was too much in light of current injuries, Robinson said: “There is a big reliance on Salah right now.
“He is the one player who Klopp can rely on. They have relied on him so many times.
“He almost always delivers. He was quiet against Nottingham Forest but Liverpool have just not been good enough.
“Sometimes, Salah can do it all on his own. But other times he needs the team to be playing well to open the opposition up.
“For me, Trent Alexander-Arnold is instrumental to what Liverpool do. When you take away his creativity you lose something. I think Salah suffers when Trent isn’t there.”
In other news, Robinson has issued a ‘big’ Liverpool verdict after journalist’s Naby Keita update.
