Live Updates: Alabama 49, Arkansas 26; Final – 247Sports

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – No. 2-ranked Alabama (4-0, 1-0 SEC) will play No. 20 Arkansas (3-1, 0-1) this afternoon in its second road game. The Crimson Tide and Razorbacks will face off at Reynolds Razorback Stadium, and the conference game will kick off at 2:30 p.m. on CBS. 
Alabama and Arkansas will meet for the 33rd time this afternoon. The Crimson Tide leads the all-time series, 25-7, and has won 15 straight over the Razorbacks. That streak includes last season’s shootout in Tuscaloosa that finished in favor of the Tide, 42-35, along with the last meeting in Fayetteville, a 52-3 win for Alabama on Dec. 12, 2020. Nick Saban is 18-2 in his career against Arkansas and a perfect 15-0 while at Alabama. Arkansas head coach Sam Pittman is in his third season as a head coach and is 0-2 against the Crimson Tide.

— Seth McLaughlin is snapping to Bryce Young as the centers and QBs take the field for warmups. Darrian Dalcourt is in uniform but dealing with back spasms and is a game-time decision, per Saban. 
— Byron Young is dressed out and is up first through D-line drills along with DJ Dale. No sign of the third senior DL, Justin Eboigbe, though.
— JoJo Earle is warming up with the rest of the wide receivers and is moving well. But no Tyler Harrell or Aaron Anderson sightings.
— The first three defensive linemen in team drills are Tim Smith, Jaheim Oats and Jah-Marien Latham.
— Arkansas wins the toss and elects to defer to the second half. Alabama will receive the opening kickoff. 
— JoJo Earle starting the game in the slot. Seth McLaughlin is at center. 
— Bryce Young looks deep for Kobe Prentice, who hauls in a 41-yard catch down to the Arkansas 31. 
— Bryce Young is picked off inside the five by Dwight McGlothern. 
— Byron Young and Jordan Battle both start the game on defense. 
— KJ Jefferson’s pass sails high and the Hogs will punt from their own 29. Kool-Aid McKinstry back deep. 
— Heads-up play Jase McClellan, who scoops up a fumbled snap and picked up the first down on 3rd and 1.

— Bryce Young hits Kobe Prentice for a 47-yard score. 
— Arkansas lines up to go for it on 4th and inches at its own 34, but the Hogs take a delay of game after they don’t draw UA offsides.
— Tyler Booker checks in at left guard to start Alabama’s third series. 
— Bryce Young looks deep for Isaiah Bond, who hauls in a 53-yard gain down to the Arkansas 8-yard line.

— Bryce Young keeps it for an 8-yard rushing score. 
— Alabama applies pressure but KJ Jefferson breaks free for a gain of 13 down to his own 38-yard line. 
— Another KJ Jefferson third-down attempt falls incomplete, and Arkansas will punt for the third time in the first quarter. 
— Kool-Aid McKinstry returns Arky’s third punt of the day 35 yards, and Alabama will start at its own 49.

— Jaheim Oatis and Will Anderson combine to sack KJ Jefferson and bring up 3rd and 22 for the Hogs. 
— Bryce Young just emerged from the sideline medical tent and ran to the Crimson Tide locker room.

— Jalen Milroe hits JoJo Earle for the 22-yard score. 
— Brian Branch stays down after he and Henry To’o To’o collide. He walks off under his own power but is headed to the medical tent. 
— Arkansas eclipses 100 yards of total offense and calls a timeout with 0:58. Hogs will face 2nd and 11 from the Tide 36 after the break.
— Brian Branch heads to the locker room with 0:48 left in the first half.
