Kieran Tierney is expected to be available for Arsenal tomorrow after missing out for Scotland midweek.
The left back was forced off during the win over Republic of Ireland last weekend and the head knock then ruled him out of the promotion-clinching 0-0 draw with Ukraine in Poland. Steve Clarke confirmed post-match that the 25-year-old had returned to his club for treatment after being removed as a precuation.
And after being assessed, he now looks likely to feature in the North London derby against Tottenham. Gunners boss Mikel Arteta was very impressed with Scotland's handling of Tierney and has thanked the international set-up for their clear communication over the injury.
He said: “What we all want is the best for the player, protect the welfare of the player, have him playing with the right mind set, have the player ready physically to play for their country, to play for their club.
“The best way to do it is if there is communication and it’s honest and transparent and with Scotland that’s the case for sure.”
