Dominic Solanke‘s ankle injury is not as bad as first feared, with caretaker Bournemouth boss Gary O’Neil “hopeful” of a quick recovery for his striker.
Goalkeeper Neto will now be out longer term with a hamstring injury, however.
“Neto will be out, he has an issue with his hamstring. We’re not sure long. It won’t be short term, it’ll be fairly long term, we think. In that I mean it won’t be a week or two. So Neto is going to be out for the next couple at least.
“Dom is a lot better than expected, so good news on Dom, he’s recovered well and we’re still hopeful.” – Gary O’Neil
Beleaguered Jesse Marsch has more problems ahead of Leeds United’s trip to Liverpool, with several concerns to report.
Luis Sinisterra (foot), Rodrigo (adductor), Joe Gelhardt (knee) and Liam Cooper (glute) were the fresh doubts listed by the Leeds boss in Thursday’s presser, while Leo Hjelde (appendix) and Tyler Adams (calf) had pre-existing injuries.
Adam Forshaw (ankle) and Stuart Dallas (knee) are still out.
“Stuart [Dallas] and Adam [Forshaw] are still out. In addition, questionable is Leo Hjelde with his appendectomy.
“And then Joffy [Gelhardt], Rodri[go], Luis [Sinisterra], Liam [Cooper] and Tyler [Adams] are all a little bit in question, we’ll see how the next 48 hours go for all of those players.” – Jesse Marsch
Andros Townsend (knee), Ben Godfrey (leg) and Yerry Mina (calf) all remain sidelined ahead of the Fulham game but budget FPL defender Nathan Patterson (knee) is back in the squad for Gameweek 14, having returned to training last week.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin hasn’t had any adverse reaction to his back-to-back starts, meanwhile.
“Patterson is back in the squad for this weekend, Dominic showed his fitness levels last weekend.” – Frank Lampard
“A really good headache, it’s exactly what I wanted. Nathan has been really, really good this season until he got his unfortunate injury. It has allowed Seamus to come in and find fitness and performance and that peaked last week against Palace and Zaha, one of the hardest players to play against in that position.” – Frank Lampard on the battle for the right-back role
“If we can keep him fit he’s a huge player for us and big reference at the top end of the pitch.
“Dominic with his attributes and his history of what he can do at this club, allows you to work off him in different ways. Delighted to have him back.” – Frank Lampard on Dominic Calvert-Lewin
Kyle Walker-Peters (hamstring), Tino Livramento (knee) and Armel Bella-Kotchap (shoulder) remain out but loanee Ainsley Maitland-Niles is available this weekend after being ineligible to face his parent club last Sunday.
Romeo Lavia (muscle) is back in training and could come into contention against Crystal Palace.
“Romeo is today first time in the session and it was a pleasure to see him playing. Would like to have him in the squad at the weekend but I think I don’t have the OK so far from the physios, so we have to wait. It’s normal because he was out for so long and now he’s the first day in the session so we must pay attention. It’s good to see immediately his quality on the pitch which is fantastic to watch.
“With Armel, it also looks good. It can be next week that he starts to train with the team. He wants to try from next week on. Could be an option for the Newcastle game.
“With Kyle it’s not that good I think, it can be that he doesn’t make it to the last game [before the break] against Liverpool. So we’ll see if it’s possible or not. Low chance, I think.” – Ralph Hasenhuttl
Brendan Rodgers confirmed that Jonny Evans (calf) is still being assessed ahead of the weekend but Wilfred Ndidi (hamstring) is back in training and will be available for the game against Manchester City
“In terms of the squad, we’ll monitor Jonny Evans over the next few days, see how Jonny is. Wilf Ndidi has been back training with the squad.
“The most important thing is that [Ndidi] is back training in the squad. He’s looked fine with the players. I think availability is more important, and thankfully he’s available.” – Brendan Rodgers

Reply fail. And top post. Perfect
Can’t decide between Rashford & Bruno, who do you think scores more over the next 3?
Money is no issue
If I was going Utd I'd probably go Antony
How's this look, I have 1FT and 1m in the bank, can I roll or any changes needed?
Trippier – Doherty – Cancelo
Salah (c) – Foden – Martinelli – Zaha
Haaland – Mitro – Toney
Ward – Andreas – Castagne – Neco
looks good, easy save
I have a very similar team and am leaning towards rolling. Only real consideration is Doherty to an arsenal def but don’t think there’s enough upside in that. I think Doherty starts
I think Emerson starts
Kepa or Raya until WC?
You sure Docherty will play?
Reply fail. Kodap
youre on fire
Trip / Cucu / Cancelo (Neco / Emerson)
Eze / Salah / Pereira / Foden (Longstaff)
Scam / Haaland / Kane
I know I need to make quite a few changes but would need to take hits, if I save I can make better moves next week – Just hope I survive this GW
depends whether Haaland starts or not
Well, yes. But we unfortunately don't know that and therein lies the origin of the question.
I'm doing it
Robertson, Trippier, Cancelo
Andreas, Salah(c), Martinelli, Rashford
Toney, Mitro, Haaland
Ederson, Coady, Bailey, Neco
Robertson to Garbriel and Martinelli to Zaha
or Robertson to TAA
Benching dilemma this week
Worried about 1 and 2 cameos
Arsenal team: Ramsdale, Tomiyasu, Holding, Saliba, Tierney, Odegaard, Lokonga, Xhaka, Vieira, Martinelli, Nketiah.
Jesus and Saka rested
Hmm think this certifies me not playing Martinelli this week
Serious? He'll play Forest
I know but his underlyings have dropped off a lot in recent weeks. Apart from the Liverpool game. A combined 0.1xG and 0.2xA in the last 2 games. Actually apart from the Liverpool game it's been much the same for a few games before that too
The fixture is too good to bench him mate, we’re very strong at the Emirates. Forest are still conceding lots of chances. Who would you want to play over him?
Robbo most likely, possibly Firmino (contemplating both if there are still questions over Cancelo tomorrow, especially as I wouldn't be surprised to see Leicester score on Saturday anyway)
(For what it's worth I'll be playing Saka and Saliba)
Ugh ignore the first "apart from the Liverpool game"
Don't think you will have a problem.Martinelli didn't play in the first game.
Is this confirmed?
Mart will be off at 60 probably Xhaka and Ode as well
Cancelo Tripp Perisic (Andersen Neco)
Salah Martinelli Foden Bowen Andreas
Haaland Mitro (Solanke)
0.0 1 FT
A. Bowen to Saka with the rest of creation
B. Perisic to Saliba or Gabriel
C. Both for a hit
I'm planning to roll FT next week and take a couple of free punts in GW 16. Smart play is probably just Perisic out, but I'm loath to miss a Saka haul. I could easily bench Perisic who is unlikely to start I think given yesterday's match and start Andersen. Thoughts?
Next 3 GW who is your preferred option:
A. Rashford – WHU avl ful
B. Martinelli – NFO che wol
Any news on Foden? Might captain him if Haaland is out.
Dont even know why Salah is in my team anymore.
Best combo here
A: Saka + Mitro (who will become Samacca in gw15)
B: Zaha (who can become rashford/trossard in gw15) + Jesus
Son to Salah for free or keep Son? Either feels like a punt at the moment
I'd say stick to whichever of those you have.
Yes. Son has been poor by his standards. So has Salah but has a bit more goal threat.
Whats the FFS consensus on Haaland/Foden/Cancelo availability for Leicester?
Predicted lineups I've seen seem to be most sceptical of Haaland's gametime, Alvarez to start in lieu. They also seem confident of Foden starting, split on Cancelo's prospects (Gomez available)
Guessing as of now, would say Foden and Cancelo start and Haaland doesn't play
I think Foden will start. Might be biased because I own him.
We don’t know.
Tomorrow we will know more.
Even more the day after tomorrow.
Basically, it’s too early.
We'll know better on Saturday. We're too young now to know the whole horrific truth.
What was said about Foden, tiredness was it? I'd say he'll be fine. Cancelo probably too if his flu/fever has cleared up, if not then I doubt he'd be risked. Unsure on Haaland, looked to be limping badly in that video someone took of him yesterday but a lot of people seem to think he was putting it on so I don't know
who knows really. Everyone was certain foden started last week and he didn't.
As for Haaland some talk about it not being serious but might not make Leicester
Seen limping yesterday
GW14 Setup with 1 FT
Cancelo – Trippier – Dier
Salah – Foden – Zaha – Martinelli
Haaland C – Mitrovic – Toney
Ward – Andreas – Andersen – Patterson
B) Pope -> Kepa
1) play Dier
2) play Andersen
Thx peepz, much appreciated
Ever so slightly leaning towards C.
If you didn’t own Cancelo, would you prioritise bringing him in over say, Darwin, for the final two games?
Feel like Cancelo could really punish me with Ful H and Bre H.
Yes. Decent form. Darwin, not so much.
probably, but it also feels a shame. I brought Darwin in and I think it could be a big upside, but between the two Cancelo -yes
Bench look correct? Or Cancelo on bench?
TTA- Cancelo- Trip – Salina
Salah- Foden- saka – Marti – Almirante
Mitro ~ Neco ~ Archer
Solanke to Mitro for free?
No… Mitros GW15 and 16 are bad.
solanke could be fit, wait for more news
Not so sure. I’m thinking of benching Mitro this week
Cancelo, Trippier, Saliba (Perisic, Dunk)
Salah, Foden, Zaha, Martinelli (Andreas)
Haaland, Mitrovic, Toney
A. Save transfer for next week, use WC as a free hit on GW16
B. Save WC, but use ft — any suggestion?
C. WC now
What's your rank? Team seems very nice for not using WC yet.
I would wildcard next GW and use it to make a 2 week 3 hit.
You've got to use it for more than the FH, it's a more powerful chip, would be a shame to waste it.
And for the 1 week punt this week I would try Toney to Calvert Lewin.
Can't help I'm a laaaady don't you know…
Auction league choose one:
Billing and comfortably for me.
So, I am tempted to roll my transfer this week but also quite like the idea of moving Chilwell to Shaw because I really don't like the rotation uncertainty. Shaw has also looked very good for Utd in recent weeks, pushing for that World Cup starting place, and has 3 good fixtures. Is that a viable move?
Also, I asked the same question last week but still applies, play Xhaka or Andreas? Annoyingly I went for Xhaka last week but didn't really get the benefit as they both scored 10pts, I should've asked Andreas or Zaha! (and Raya or Ward!!)
Trippier, Chilwell, Cancelo
Zaha, Salah (C), Xhaka, Foden
Mitrovic, Haaland (vc), Jesus
Ward, Andreas, Webster, Neco
1FT and 1.1M ITB
Need advice. 1 free transfer, have Martinelli in team.
a. Foden to Saka
b. Stick & Roll
