Chelsea plan raid
Chelsea are set to make a January swoop for Juventus ace Adrien Rabiot.
Rabiot was on the verge of joining Manchester United in the summer after the two clubs agreed a fee for the midfielder.
The Red Devils, however, pulled out of a deal for the 27-year-old due to his sky-high salary demands.
But the France international's reported contract demands have reportedly not put off new Blues boss Graham Potter.
According to Calciomercato, the West Londoners are weighing up bringing the former Paris Saint-Germain man to Stamford Bridge in January.
And it's claimed they could be rivalled for Rabiot's signature by their Premier League rivals Newcastle
Zaha transfer blow
Crystal Palace will hold talks with Wilfried Zaha over a new long-term deal.
That is according to Palace boss Patrick Vieira, who claims Zaha won’t be leaving for free in June when his deal runs out.
That would be a significant transfer blow for Arsenal and Chelsea who have been keeping tabs on the winger for quite some time.
The Ivory international has been impressive this season with five goals in 10 Premier League matches
Erling Haaland record
Manchester City superstar Erling Haaland is on course for a whopping 58 Premier League goals this season, if he keeps going at his current pace.
Haaland has bagged 17 Premier League goals already this season with a current rate or 1.55 goals per game.
According to Offers.Bet, the star striker could smash Mohamed Salah’s 32 goals in a season record for a 38-game season.
The Norway international could even surpass the 34 goals in a season set by Andy Cole and Alan Shearer back in the days of a 42-game season.
The 22-year-old could break Salah’s record in his 22nd game of the season, which is scheduled to be City’s away trip to Bournemouth on February 25.
If Haaland can keep up the ridiculous scoring record, he would break Shearer’s record of 260 Premier League goals in the 2026-2027 Premier League season
Ron the way out
Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo is willing to take a pay cut to depart from Old Trafford.
According to The Athletic, Ronaldo could push for a move away from United and potential suitors have been made aware he is willing to accept a lower salary.
The forward looked to leave Old Trafford last summer but no Champions League sides showed interest.
If the 37-year-old legend receives no offers in the January transfer window then the Red Devils would be open to letting him go for free if a mutual agreement is reached to terminate his contract.
Manager Erik ten Hag will also not look for a replacement if the Real Madrid legend ultimately puts an end to his second stint at Old Trafford in the New Year
Back Ron it
Chelsea are interested in signing Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo after his fall-out with manager Erik ten Hag.
According to Sunday World, the Blues are tempted to make a move for Ronaldo in January.
The West Londoners were one of several teams contacted by the 37-year-old’s representatives last summer after he decided to leave United.
Chelsea’s new owner Todd Boehly was keen to bring the star forward over to Stamford Bridge but former boss Thomas Tuchel opted against a potential deal.
But with Tuchel now gone, Boehly is keen to renew his interest and explore a swoop for the Portugal captain in the New Year.
Chelsea appear keen on a temporary deal that would see the five-time Ballon d’Or winner stay until the end of the season with an option to extend for a second term
Let’s be Frank
Arsenal have joined the transfer war for Eintracht Frankfurt ace Evan Ndicka.
The Gunners are still searching for a left-sided centre-back ahead of the upcoming January transfer window.
According to the Evening Standard, Ndicka is one of the North Londoners’ top targets but face competition.
Tottenham, Newcastle and Manchester United have also been recently linked with the talented centre-back.
Arsenal turned their attention on the Frenchman after missing out on Lisandro Martinez, who signed for United in the summer.
Mikel Arteta’s team also failed to land Calvin Bassey, who chose to play for Ajax
Newcastle join Trossard race
Newcastle have joined the transfer war for Brighton star Leandro Trossard.
Trossard, 27, is having a breakout campaign in front of goal, scoring six and assisting two in the Premier League.
However, the winger's deal with the Seagulls is up at the end of the season meaning he can agree a pre-contract agreement with foreign clubs from January.
The Belgium international can also wait until the summer to join a Premier League team on a free transfer.
An option for Brighton to avoid losing the forward for free is sanctioning a sale in January.
And according to transfer expert Graeme Bailey, on the Talking Transfers podcast, the Magpies will rival Chelsea for Trossard's signature and have named the amount they'd be willing to spend
Agbonlahor slams Coutinho
Aston Villa star Philippe Coutinho has been told to apologise to sacked boss Steven Gerrard by one of the club's former stars.
Gabriel Agbonlahor said Coutinho had let his former manager down with a series of a sub-par performances this season.
Agbonlahor told talkSPORT: "Coutinho was his man and he didn't perform for him.
"Coutinho owes Gerrard an apology, for me, for the way he performed, Gerrard backed him"
Sil the deal
Paris Saint-Germain are interested in Benfica star and Manchester United target Antonio Silva.
According to Le10Sport, PSG are impressed with Silva's performances and are willing to make a £90million bid.
That sort of offer could be enough to lure the centre-back to Parc des Princes.
Real Madrid, Manchester City, Napoli and Valencia are also interested in the Portuguese ace – along with United
Leeds united behind struggling Marsch
The Leeds United board are understood to be standing by their under fire manager Jesse Marsch despite the Elland Road crowd turning on the American.
Boos rang out from the home fans at the end of yesterday's 3-2 defeat by Fulham, a fourth defeat in succession and an eighth game without a win.
The result leaves Leeds in the Premier League relegation zone, and Marsch odds-on with the bookmakers to be the next manager to be shown the door.
However, the 48-year-old was defiant despite the latest loss.
"I'm here for the long term," he said afterwards.
"I love this club, I'm investing everything I have to try to make us better.
"I understand the frustrations from the fans and we are equally, if not more, frustrated. We are doing everything we can and we are together.
"The board and I are unified. We have had clear discussions that we are together."
Gunners cool interest in N’Dicka
Arsenal have reportedly cooled their interest in January transfer target Evan N’Dicka after centre-back Gabriel penned a new deal at the Emirates.
The Express believe that the Brazilian contract extension means that the Gunners are less likely to enter the market for a defender when the transfer window reopens.
The Premier League leaders had been heavily linked with Eintracht Frankfurt ace N’Dicka, who they were hoping to pick up for a bargain £7m.
However, Gabriel’s decision to pledge his future to the Londoners until at least 2027 will now see Mikel Arteta, Edu and co. look elsewhere for squad reinforcements.
United will allow Ronaldo exit
Manchester United will not stand in the way of Cristiano Ronaldo if he continues to press for a move, according to The Athletic.
They reveal that Erik ten Hag is preparing for showdown talks with the legendary forward this week.
Should Ronaldo insist that he still wants to quit Old Trafford, the club will allow him to explore options ahead a of January transfer.
However, the Dutch boss will allow Ronaldo to rejoin the Manchester United squad this week – but only if he shows remorse for his latest tantrum, and accepts that he is no longer a guaranteed starter.
The 37-year-old refused to come on as a sub in the midweek win over Tottenham, and then stormed off down the tunnel before the final whistle.
Coutinho should apologise to Gerrard
Philippe Coutinho has been told to apologise to sacked Aston Villa boss Steven Gerrard by one of the club's former stars.
Speaking in his role as a pundit for talkSPORT, Gabriel Agbonlahor said the Brazilian had let his former boss down with a series of a sub-par performances this season.
"Coutinho was his man and he didn't perform for him," announced the former Villa Park favourite.
"Coutinho owes Gerrard an apology, for me, for the way he performed, Gerrard backed him."
The 30-year-old initially flourished after joining the West Midlands outfit on loan in January, but has floundered since they forked out to bring him in permanently from Barcelona.
Coutinho has yet to register a goal or assist so far this campaign, and hasn't started a game since the 1-1 draw at Nottingham Forest two weeks ago.

Vieira said: “Wilfried knows what the club think about him, and we know what he thinks about the club.

And his recovery could not come at a better time for boss Erik ten Hag after fellow defender Raphael Varane damaged a hamstring at Chelsea on Saturday.
England manager Gareth Southgate will be delighted to see Maguire, 29, in Qatar.
But Frenchman Varane was in tears and is likely to miss next month’s tournament.

Llaneza, who passed away after a battle with leukemia earlier this week, was one of the driving forces behind Villarreal's growth over the past three decades.
The club has even announced that a space has been set up in the town hall where fans can pay their respects to Llaneza.
Villarreal took on Almeria at home on Sunday and fell behind after 31 minutes.
But the Yellow Submarine got themselves back on level terms through Baena in the second half.
The midfielder, who was already on a booking, lifted his shirt revealing a message of thanks to Llaneza.

They then proceeded to cheer substitute keeper Marcin Bulka in a pointed gesture to replace Schmeichel.
Nice went on to draw the game 1-1 as a stoppage-time Nicolas Pepe penalty salvaged a point for Nice.
