Benzema fee
Real Madrid have to pay Lyon £870,000 following Karim Benzema's Ballon d'Or triumph, according to reports.
The striker, 34, joined the Spanish giants way back in 2009 for a then French-record transfer fee of £30million.
The deal had add-ons within it which could enable the price to increase to as much as £35.2m.
And one of those was a clause which would see Lyon receive one million euros if he claimed the Ballon d'Or.
Well over a decade on, L'Equipe understand that clause has now been triggered after the Madrid man claimed the award ahead of Sadio Mane and Kevin de Bruyne.

Darwin Nunez reached 36.5 km/h in August’s 2-2 draw with Fulham, according to Opta Joe.
The £85million club record signing, 23, helped rescue Liverpool from disaster, scoring the Reds’ first equaliser and assisting the second.
Nunez has since gone on to add three more goals to his tally, with his most recent strike coming in the 1-0 win over West Ham.
Arsenal’s Martinelli, 21, clocked in a top speed not far off Nunez.
The Brazil star registered 35.9 km/h.
Terry celebrates Cole's goal
John Terry revelled in Joe Cole's iconic 2006 goal for Chelsea against Manchester United where he made Rio Ferdinand "dizzy".
Chelsea confirmed back-to-back Premier League titles with a 3-0 win over United.

William Gallas and Ricardo Carvalho got on the scoresheet, but Cole's goal was the pick of the bunch.
The ex-England international controlled Didier Drogba's flick-on and twisted away from Ferdinand with a drag-back before firing high into the net.
Cole's goal made Ferdinand and Co "dizzy", said former team-mate and Chelsea captain Terry.
The iconic Blues defender said on Twitter: "Joe Cole what a goal, what a day, Making people dizzy."
Nketiah sidelines Ghana to continue England dream
Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah is backing himself to earn an England senior team call up for Euro 2024.
However, he had been linked with representing Ghana at the World Cup due to not yet receiving the call up for England.
But The Gunners star has opted to keep his options open for now.
And Ghana will proceed with their plans for Qatar without Nketiah on board.
It indicates England’s record Under-21 goalscorer remains keen on getting a debut cap for the Three Lions.

BREAKING – Ronaldo breaks silence since Spurs walk off
Cristiano Ronaldo has thrown his support behind his Manchester United team-mates ahead of their trip to Chelsea.
The Red Devils are taking on Premier league rivals Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in a 5.30pm kick-off.
Despite not being in the matchday squad, Ronaldo said on Instagram ahead of United vs Chelsea: “Lets go Manchester United.”
Ronaldo said storming off against Tottenham was in “the heat of the moment”.
He also called for unity and vowed to not give in to the pressure.
James 'devastated' with injury but won't give up
Chelsea star Reece James is not giving up on going to the World Cup as he hopes to make a shock recovery in time to join England in Qatar.
James, 22, suffered a knee injury last week in the Champions League against AC Milan at the San Siro and was told he will be sidelined for two months.
That should mean he will miss next month's World Cup, which starts on November 20 with Three Lions manager Gareth Southgate expected to announce his squad just before the final deadline of November 13.
Despite that, the 22-year-old posted a short update on his recovery from surgery and vowed to do "everything he can" to recover in time to join England.
The Chelsea full-back did add however that he is "devastated" by the fact he looks more than likely to miss out on his first opportunity to play in the esteemed tournament.
Ronaldo didn't receive one vote for Ballon D'Or
Cristiano Ronaldo did not receive a SINGLE VOTE in this year's Ballon d'Or despite placing 20th, it has been revealed.
The Manchester United superstar, 37, scored 24 goals in 38 games for the Red Devils last season.
But he still failed to avoid finishing in his lowest Ballon d'Or position since 2005 – when he wasn't nominated.
And it has now been leaked on social media that Ronaldo did not claim ANY votes.
A total of 19 players received one vote or more, leaving the five-time winner in 20th place.
Nott a bad result for Forest
It's finished Nottingham Forest 1-0 Liverpool.
What a save by loan star Dean Henderson at the death!
Nottingham Forest 1-0 Liverpool
With five minutes of injury time remaining, it is STIL one nil to the hosts.
Can they hold on?
What's the deal with Frenkie?
The Red Devils agreed a fee of £72million including add-ons for the Dutchman back in July.
But backdated wage payments that Barcelona owed the player stalled the deal and ended up forcing it to collapse.
New Blues owner Todd Boehly then tried to hijack United's target late on in the window, but that too was unsuccessful.
However, De Jong has been out of favour with Barca boss Xavi so far this season, starting just five games in all competitions.
And the Catalan giants are set to be eliminated from the Champions League before the knockout rounds after only one win from their opening four matches.

De Jong fight to continue in January
Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool are reportedly set to battle it out for Frenkie de Jong's signature in the January transfer window.
The Barcelona midfielder, 25, was linked with a move to both United and Chelsea in the summer.
Nottingham Forest 0-0 Liverpool
It's still 0-0 in the live Premier League game after 35 minutes.
Bottom-side Forest have started well and are full of energy.
They are putting the pressure on Liverpool in possession, but they have been just a tad frenetic themselves with the ball.
The hosts need to hold their composure.
Saka and Martinelli to return for Arsenal
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has been handed an injury boost ahead of Sunday’s trip to Southampton.
Main man Bukayo Saka limped off in Thursday’s 1-0 win over PSV Eindhoven in the Europa League.
But the England international, 21, is expected to be back for the trip to St Mary’s.
Gabriel Martinelli is also expected to play after a bout of illness.
Arteta confirmed: “I think he (Saka) is fine. He was struggling a bit at the end but hopefully he’ll be fine for Sunday.
“(Martinelli) had a tough week. He wasn’t feeling great in the week. But in the day before the game he was already feeling better so that’s why we decided to play him a little bit.”
Nottingham Forest 0-0 Liverpool
We're underway at the City Ground. Goalless after a few minutes.
Liverpool have never won in five Prem away games against Forest (D3 L2) – the City Ground is the only ground the Reds have played at more than once in the competition and never won.
Forest announce starting line up
The bottom-placed Nottingham side have named their starting XI for the early 12:30 clash with Liverpool.

Today's clash of the titans
Two new managers, one old rivalry – but three crucial points up for grabs, writes Joshua Jones.
For Erik ten Hag and Graham Potter, they are just getting their feet under the table in their respective offices at Carrington and Cobham.
But they will know all about the history of this famous clash – and how important a win could be come the end of the season with both men desperate to clinch a top-four spot.
For Potter at Chelsea, this is his toughest test so far.
He saw off Crystal Palace, Wolves and Aston Villa but Brentford held firm for a 0-0 in midweek as his Blues cling on to fourth.
Chelsea are facing only their second ‘Big Six’ opponent of the season and come into this evening’s Stamford Bridge showdown against Manchester United with a torrid recent record while United are aiming for a fourth win against the established elite this term.
Masato Kudo passes away
Japan international Masato Kudo has died, aged 32.
The former Vancouver Whitecaps and Brisbane Roar had been playing for Japanese third-division club Tegevajaro Miyazaki.
The Whitecaps said earlier this month that Kudo underwent brain surgery in Japan and was in intensive care.
Rest in peace.
Early kick-off in the Prem
Liverpool take on Nottingham Forest at the City Ground in what should be a fiery lunchtime kick-off.
The Reds look to be somewhat back on track in the Premier League, beating Man City and West Ham in consecutive games, but Forest are still winless in over two months.
Ten Hag’s history with stroppy individuals
Cristiano Ronaldo will never play for Manchester United again… if the last player to defy Erik ten Hag is anything to go by.
On Friday, tough-talking Ten Hag confirmed Ronaldo refused to come off the bench in the 2-0 win over Tottenham.
It’s a similar case to that of ex-Ajax star Amin Younes.
Like Ronaldo, Younes refused to come on as a late sub during a 4-1 win over Heerenveen in March 2018.
There is footage of Ten Hag motioning for Younes to come off the bench, only to for the now-Utrecht ace to flat out refuse.
He was then excluded from the team for the rest of the season.
