Everton will demand a “huge price tag” for Jordan Pickford next summer amid interest from Man United.
That is the view of former Spurs and England number one Paul Robinson, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the 28-year-old’s future at Goodison Park.
According to The Telegraph‘s Mike McGrath (24 September), Erik ten Hag’s side are keeping close tabs on Pickford.
The Red Devils are said to be making plans to replace David de Gea to reduce their record-high wage bill.
De Gea has entered the final 12 month of his contract at Old Trafford.
When asked by Football Insider for his reaction to the latest, Robinson said: “Pickford has been their best player for the last 12 months.

“He carries a huge price tag. I do not think Man United will pay what it would take to get him out of Everton.
“Pickford is a top-class goalkeeper and Everton would have to replace him if he left.
“His future depends a lot on his international performances. If he performs for England in this World Cup there will be a few teams looking at him next summer.
“He is not a goalkeeper who should be challenging at the bottom of the league. He is better than that. Everton are not at the level of Man United, Man City, Arsenal and Liverpool. There is another step for Pickford to take. It is up to him whether he takes it.”
In other news, a medical expert has claimed Nathan Patterson may be out longer than Everton letting on amid ‘serious concern’.
