Derby County have confirmed their new kits for the 2022/23 season will go on sale at the start of next month as the recovery from administration continues.
All three of the new home, away and third kits will be available both in person and online at the DCFCMegastore from 8am on Thursday, October 6. It follows a delay announced by the club back in the summer, due to the club’s administration.
The club has confirmed that the new third kit will be worn by the Derby squad for the weekend’s League One clash against Cambridge United. The game will be new head coach Paul Warne’s first game in charge of the club.

The Papa John’s Trophy clash against Mansfield the following Tuesday will then see the new away kit make its debut. Derby will be back in their home kit for the match against Port Vale at Pride Park on Saturday, 8 October.
Derby have also announced that discussions are ‘ongoing’ over what will appear on the front of the shirt, with the club preferring to feature a charitable organisation rather than a traditional sponsor. Once a decision has been made, the players' shirts will feature the organisation, but logistics means that replica shirts bought by supporters will remain blank.
While the new shirts were being organised, Derby players wore a temporary kit during the pre-season clashes. Those kits are now being used in order to raise funds for the Derby County Community Trust and are available via an online auction and prize draws throughout October.
