Who is David Prutton tipping for victory in the Sky Bet Championship this weekend? Find out here…
Burnley were largely outplayed by West Brom last Friday night, but still would have felt disappointed to only come away with a point after conceding so late in the day. Vincent Kompany has had a week to pick them up from that and get them ready to go again.
Norwich are flying now. They blew Coventry away on Saturday with their most convincing display of the season and are coming off the back of five wins on the spin. I think that run will be halted here, but they’ll still pick up a point.
Prutton predicts: 2-2 (Sky Bet odds)
Bristol City have crept up the table. Unbeaten in six, and look like they have plenty of goals in them. It is starting to look like patience in Nigel Pearson and his side is paying off.
Preston, meanwhile, have been involved in just three goals in their eight games this season compared to Bristol City’s 27. It is a pretty remarkable contrast. I reckon this will be another low-scoring North End affair, with the home side to edge it.
Prutton predicts: 1-0 (Sky Bet odds)

You start to worry for Coventry. At first you could blame a lack of momentum after their stop-start beginning, but now they are just losing games and are starting to get cut adrift.
West Brom have to see this as an opportunity to get a win on the board. They are making chances but not taking them, and while they earned a late point against Burnley last week, it was still just a draw. I’ll back the Baggies.
Prutton predicts: 1-2 (Sky Bet odds)
It was a very professional display from Sheffield United to beat Hull on Sunday, underlining their promotion credentials with a fourth win in five games. They look good at both ends of the pitch.
Rotherham have dipped a little, and now have just one win from five. But anything 21st and above would represent a fantastic season for Paul Warne and his side. Home win here for me.
Prutton predicts: 2-0 (Sky Bet odds)
It is not the start Alex Neil would have wanted or foreseen at Stoke. Just a point from two games, and it underlines how tough it can be to take charge of a side during the thick of a campaign.
Luton suffered a frustrating defeat at home to Wigan last weekend, throwing away a lead late on to end up taking nothing from the game and halting what looked to be turning into a decent mini run of results. A first Potters win for Neil in this one.
Prutton predicts: 1-0 (Sky Bet odds)
With the team and the resources they have at their disposal, you would have expected Watford to have beaten Rotherham at the weekend, but there have been occasions this season where they still don’t look quite the sum of their parts.
I am probably due an apology to Reading! I keep predicting them to drop points and struggle, and they keep proving me wrong. Even saying that, I still have to go with my gut and tip them to draw here. But I fancy a few goals.
Prutton predicts: 2-2 (Sky Bet odds)
Birmingham vs Swansea: 1-1
Blackpool vs Middlesbrough: 1-2
Cardiff vs Hull: 0-2
QPR vs Huddersfield: 3-1
Sunderland vs Millwall: 2-1
Wigan vs Blackburn: 1-1
