Kevin Campbell expects Barcelona to come back in for Man City midfielder Bernardo Silva next year.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Arsenal and Everton striker said the 28-year-old is “tailor-made” for the La Liga giants.
The Portugal international was heavily linked with a move to the Nou Camp in the summer window but a deal did not materialise.
According to Mundo Deportivo, via Sport Witness (26 September), City have slapped a £72million price tag on the attacking midfielder to ward off interest from potential suitors.
Barcelona are said to be determined to make Bernardo Silva their statement signing next summer.
His contract at the Etihad runs until the end of June 2025.

When asked by Football Insider if £72million is a price Barcelona would be willing to pay for the former Monaco man, Campbell said: “Where are Barcelona going to get the money from? It is crackers.
“I know they want Silva. It is a deal that they would have wanted to do in the summer but they couldn’t get it sorted.
“They had so many players waiting to get registered, the local hotel must have been full. Everybody was waiting to sign for them.
“I think they could go back in for Silva is the finances are right. If anyone is a Barcelona player it is Bernado Silva. He is tailor-made for that team, 100 per cent.”
