Giovanni van Bronckhorst has named his Rangers team to face Dundee United in the Scottish Premiership.
The Light Blue welcome the Terrors to Ibrox this afternoon in their last fixture before the international break. Van Bronckhorst's men are on a terrible run of form, losing their last three games while failing to score and conceding 11. Rangers will be desperate for three points against United, which would close the gap to two points to Celtic, ahead of the Scottish champions' game against St Mirren tomorrow.
Rangers produced an encouraging display against Napoli, until James Sands was sent off and the Italian's eased to a 3-0 win. They face a Dundee United side today, who are winless, bottom of the league and still without a permanent manager after Jack Ross' dismissal. Liam Fox is in temporary charge and he could bolster his chance of landing the job on a permanent basis with a positive result today.
Van Bronckhorst has made a host of changes from the Napoli defeat, with Charlie McCann handed a shock start, with Glen Kamara and Rabbi Matondo left out the squad.
Rangers XI: McGregor, Tavernier, Goldson, King, Barisic, Lundstram, Jack, Arfield, Kent, Colak
Subs: McCrorie, Yilmaz, Davis, Sands, Morelos, Wright, Davies, Sakala, Tillman
Meanwhile, Fox has named a strong Dundee United with Glenn Middleton starting against his former club.
Dundee United: Eriksson, Smith, Mulgrew, Graham, Edwards, Middleton, Behich, McGrath, Levitt, Harkes, Wattt
Subs: Newman, McMann, Niskanen, Sibbald, Meekison, Sa
