The following construction projects are anticipated to affect highways in Washington County. All work is weather permitting.
Ohio 7 Projects
Resurfacing — A resurfacing project between Captain D Seeley MIA Drive and Ingram Road. Lane closures are in place. Estimated completion: today.
Rockfall Repair — A rockfall repair between SR 807 and Dana Road. One lane is closed. Traffic is being maintained with temporary signals, except during blasting operations when it will be held up to 15 minutes at a time. Estimated completion: Oct. 1.
Culvert Replacement — A culvert replacement between Sheets Run Road and Commerce Drive. One lane is closed. Traffic is being maintained with temporary signals. Estimated completion: Nov. 18.
Other projects:
Retaining Wall Repair — A retaining wall repair project is taking place on SR 530 between Griffin Road and Duck Creek Road. One lane is closed. Traffic is being maintained with temporary signals. Estimated completion: Sept. 23.
Resurfacing — A resurfacing project is taking place on SR 618, between Main Street and Drag Strip Road. Lane closures are in place. Estimated completion: Nov. 1.
Resurfacing — A resurfacing project begins Monday on SR 60 between Marion Street and SR 821. Lane closures will be in place from 9 p.m-5 a.m. Monday through Friday. Estimated completion: Nov. 15.
Resurfacing — A resurfacing project begins Wednesday on SR 676 between SR 339 and Gates Avenue. One lane will be closed. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. Estimated completion: Nov. 15.
City of Marietta Start Westward Project — Phase 1 of the City of Marietta’s Start Westward project is currently underway, between Front/Wooster and Front/Putnam Streets. Improvements are planned for the sidewalk/curb, street lighting, and Muskingum Park drive access. Two-way traffic will be maintained at all times; however, street parking will be unavailable. Estimated completion: Dec. 1.
