Nottingham Forest have confirmed the date for their Carabao Cup clash with Tottenham Hotspur.
The Reds clinched their place in the third round of the competition by seeing off Grimsby Town last month. A goal from Ryan Yates and a Sam Surridge brace saw them triumph 3-0 at Blundell Park.
That win sets up a meeting with Spurs at the City Ground. The match will take place on Wednesday, November 9, with a 7.45pm kick-off, with the club saying ticketing information will be announced in due course.

There will be no extra-time or possibility of a replay. If the scores are level after 90 minutes, a penalty shootout will be required to decide who goes through to the next round.
Steve Cooper’s side have faced Tottenham once already this season. They put in a fine performance on the banks of the Trent but were toppled by two goals from Harry Kane.
The League Cup tie will be Forest’s penultimate run-out before the World Cup break. Once they return to action after the upcoming international break, they have an action-packed October through to mid-November.
The Reds host Fulham on Friday night aiming to go into the two-week hiatus with a positive result after three successive defeats. They will resume with a trip to Leicester City on October 3.
Forest’s upcoming fixtures: Fulham (H), Friday, September 16; Leicester City (A), Monday, October 3; Aston Villa (H), Monday, October 10; Wolverhampton Wanderers (A), Saturday, October 15; Brighton and Hove Albion (A), Tuesday, October 18; Liverpool (H), Saturday, October 22; Arsenal (A), Sunday, October 30; Brentford (H), Saturday, November 5; Tottenham Hotspur in Carabao Cup (H), Wednesday, November 9; Crystal Palace (H), Saturday, November 12.
Following the World Cup, Cooper’s men will return to action away to Manchester United on Boxing Day. A rearranged date has yet to be announced for their trip to Leeds United, which had been scheduled for Monday night but was postponed.
