Penn State vs Auburn, Sept. 18, 2021
Today’s Penn State football news headlines feature a look from the Auburn locker room at Saturday’s matchup at Jordan-Hare Stadium and an early point spread that favors Penn State.
Tom Green from AL.com has feedback from Auburn players on what they hope is a revenge matchup on their home field. The vibe from the Tigers is that they feel they should have won last season’s matchup at Beaver Stadium and feel they “owe” Penn State for the 28-20 loss.

Though the Tigers are seeking vengeance for last season’s loss, the Vegas sportsbooks still see Penn State as a road favorite in this one, writes Ryan Parsons for Onward State. Auburn is off to a 2-0 start, but it hasn’t all been smooth, including last week’s trying 24-16 win over visiting San Jose State. Meanwhile, Penn State has scored 81 points in two games and comes off a 46-10 win over Ohio where the struggling ground game came to life.
