Austin McBroom vs. AnEsonGib results: Gib knocks McBroom down five times, wins Social Gloves boxing fight via KO – Sporting News

  • September 12, 2022

A head injury delayed the scheduled boxing fight between Austin McBroom and AnEsonGib for several months. From July to September, the YouTubers waited for their moment to face each another in the ring. When they finally did, they didn’t disappoint.
AnEsonGib knocked out McBroom in the fourth round after putting him down five times Saturday night at Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles. Their bout was the main event of the second Social Gloves boxing program, which McBroom owns.
“I came all the way from England, I came to America to KO the CEO . . . I got my revenge, I got my redemption,” Gib said following the fight.

AnEson Gib was knocked down in the first round by McBroom but then stormed back. He landed two knockdowns in the third round and three in Round 4. The last knockdown forced McBroom out of the ring, similar to how Nick Young fell out earlier in the night in his fight against Minikon.
Referee Jack Reiss was very generous when it came to giving McBroom a shot at surviving the fight, but it was all for naught.
This was a revenge fight, after AnEsonGib thought McBroom and Social Gloves tried to cheat him out of a win against Tayler Holder at the inaugural event. AnEsonGib finally got payback, and then some.
Up next for AnEsonGib is a potential date with destiny against KSI, who recently beat two opponents in one night and called out the winner of Saturday’s fight.
Jake and Logan Paul, two men who are familiar with AnEsonGib, congratulated him on the win.
WOW. INSANE.

You can’t play boxing.

Congrats to GIB.
Gib is the next Mike Tyson plain & simple
This Social Gloves event also featured Adrian Peterson getting knocked out by fellow former NFL running back Le’Veon Bell
