Alan Hutton “cant’ believe” Arsenal “star” Gabriel Jesus wasn’t included in Tite’s Brazil squad for their upcoming international friendlies.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Tottenham and Aston Villa defender said Mikel Arteta will be “more than happy” to not lose Jesus to international duty.
As revealed by Sky Sports (9 September), Jesus, Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Magalhaes have been left out of the national squad for their upcoming matches against Ghana and Tunisia.

Tite has included Flamengo striker Pedro in place of Jesus as his option up front for Brazil.
Jesus has featured in seven games for the Gunners so far this season.
The 25-year-old has scored three goals and provided three assists for Arteta’s side.

When asked if it will be a boost for the London club to keep hold of the forward, Hutton told Football Insider:
“100 per cent, no manager wants to see their players go away,” he told Football Insider.
“They know players want to play international football but there’s always that nervousness about injuries. He’s such an important player for Arsenal at this moment in time.
“I can’t believe that he’s not been called up. I’m trying to think if there’s a reason behind it or what but he’s been on fire this season. So I think Arteta will be more than happy that he’s not losing his top star to international duty.“
On 4 July, Arsenal confirmed the signing of the Brazilian on a permanent transfer from Man City.
He put pen to paper on a five-year deal at the Emirates.
In other news, a medical insider has said Emile Smith Rowe may be set for surgery after ‘highly unusual’ Arsenal incident.
