College football schedule today: TV coverage, channels, scores for Week 2 top-25 games – Sporting News

College football isn’t slowing down heading into Week 2, with yet another slate of top-25 action with numerous storylines.
The biggest game of the week arguably is the meeting of future SEC foes Alabama and Texas. The top-ranked Crimson Tide are heading to Austin, in only Nick Saban’s third true nonconference road game at Alabama. He and the Tide will take on former offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian, as well as former No. 1 overall recruit Quinn Ewers.
Another game worth watching between ranked and unranked foes is No. 10 USC at Stanford. The game will be Lincoln Riley’s debut on the Pac-12 stage, against a team that curiously beat this team last season in Week 2. How will Caleb Williams, Jordan Addison, Travis Dye and Co. fare against the Cardinal?

There are, of course, several games between ranked teams as well. Chief among them: the SEC East battle between No. 12 Florida and No. 20 Kentucky in Gainesville. A win for the Wildcats would be their second victory over the Gators in as many years, which hasn’t happened in this series since 1976-77.
Then there’s the “Johnny Majors Bowl” between No. 24 Tennessee and No. 17 Pitt; the Panthers are coming off a 38-31 barn-burner against West Virginia in the Backyard Brawl, and have gotten a good return on USC transfer Kedon Slovis. Tennessee, which is 0-3 all time against Pitt, is looking to turn things around in the second year of the Josh Heupel era.
And finally, No. 9 Baylor will take on No. 21 BYU in a battle of future Big 12 opponents in the 10:15 p.m. Eastern time slot to end the day.
The Sporting News has everything you need to watch those games — and more — in Week 2:
Three games take place between top-25 teams: No. 20 Kentucky at No. 12 Florida, at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN; No. 24 Tennessee at No. 17 Pitt, at 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC; and No. 9 Baylor at No. 21 BYU, at 10:15 p.m. on ESPN.
In all, eight games involving top-25 teams will be broadcast on national television across Fox, ESPN, ABC and NBC. All but three of the 22 games involving such teams can be televised via fuboTV, which offers a free trial.
Other options for streaming top-25 games include the ESPN app, Fox.com and Peacock.
